Jake Mageau | Something in the Water

As usual, there’s plenty of backcountry, sidecountry and street. But in a throwback to Jake’s days as a halfpipe competitor, there’s also a section where he takes his progressive style back to the stunt ditch with Hunter Hess.

For a minute this beautifully put-together project could even be mistaken for a traditional park edit,  with a section at Kimbosessions 2022. Jake butters, presses and hand drags around Kläppen Snowpark while a few friends make cameo appearances.

Brady’s editing and music choices are as creative and perfectly matched as they always are and, in my opinion, this is the pair’s best ski movie yet.
