On the last four hours of their trip to Monashee Powder Snowcats, Riley Leboe, Cole Richardson, Sam Kuch and Jordy Kidner were led by lead guide John Dutton to a nearby burn zone. There, they encountered an unexpected bounty that turned out to be one of the deepest days of the season. Watch more of Head’s Kore Stories here.

From YouTube: Four skiers, with four hours left on the trip of the season and the snow just wouldn’t stop falling. There was but one thing to do. Ski it out.

In the burnt out forests surrounding Monashee Powder Snowcats there is very little natural obstacles preventing the massive amount of snow from hitting the playful slopes. If you happen to be there on just the right day, you’ll have stories to make your fellow skiers envious for a lifetime. This was one of those days.
