The Winter 2016/17 at the Riderpark Pizol Offers More than Ever

Innovation is written with a capital “I” in the coming season at the Riderpark Pizol! A refined setup and a brand-new event are guaranteed to breathe some fresh air into the local mountain of Rheintal in the St. Gallen area – countless amazing shred sessions included, of course.

More obstacles at the Riderpark Pizol It’s no coincidence the park is called Riderpark and it will definitely continue to live up to its name – this winter’s setup offers two brand-new obstacles. A 5-meter long hovertube and an 8-meter big pipe rail donkey out will certainly trigger the creativity of all the freeskiers. Moreover, the beginner- and the medium kickers are perfectly suited to work on your first jumps or to try out some new moves. Once again though, the heart piece of the setup consists of various rails and boxes on which freeskiers can test their jibbing skills, while enjoying the divine panoramic view of the Sarganserland.

More events in the winter 2016/17 If gambling and shredding are among your hobbies, you will undoubtedly get your money’s worth at the Riderpark Pizol this season! For the first time the Shred Poker’s going to transform the park into a gambling table. “All-in” will be the motto for all the freeskiers on the 18th of February 2017. The rules are simple: A big bag of stylish tricks means a big bag of chips, which can be swapped for some sweet goodies later on. To round off a relaxed event there’s going to be a barbecue and a healthy dose of smooth beats to regain your energy for even more runs. Hence, it’s time to start practicing your best moves and your poker face, but make sure you’re playing your shred cards close to your chest at the Shred Poker on the 18th of February!

Moreover, the Public Photo Shoot has become something of tradition for all the freeskiers at Pizol hence it’s a definitive must this season. On the 7th of January 2017, all freeskiers have the chance to get a cool action pic of themselves for free. Another must-attend event at the Riderpark Pizol is the Riders Day on the 11th of March 2017, where the up-and-coming riders of the region will gather to battle each other. Once again, this year the Riders Day will be an event for the whole family – so it’s certainly going to be a blast for visitors of all ages.
