Everyone's favorite American sports broadcaster, ESPN, has launched crowd voting for their annual ESPY "Best in Sports" Awards, and a pair of freeskiers have made the cut in the category "Best Male Action Sports Athlete": Henrik Harlaut and David Wise.
Click here and scroll all the way down the long list of categories— right on past "Best Jockey" and "Best Bowler"— and you'll find Harlaut and Wise, in the running for the year's best man in action sports alongside skateboarder Kevin Hoefler and snowboarder Markus Kleveland. Wise is also up for the "Best Male [American] Olympian" award, challenging snowboarders Shaun White and Red Gerard, as well as curler (!) John Schuster.
Wise and Harlaut are going up against the weight of the snowboard, skateboard and (ahem) curling communities, so they'll need all the help they can get. Go throw your support behind skiing's favorite dreadlocked Swede and gold-medal American family man.
In case you're looking for some inspiration for your vote: Wise successfully defended his Olympic gold medal in halfpipe this winter in South Korea, while Harlaut accomplished the rare feat of winning both Slopestyle and Big Air at the 2018 Winter X Games, while filming for a two-year movie project due out this fall.
