The Arc’teryx Academy takes over St. Anton am Arlberg next weekend

January 31, 2025

The 2025 Arc’teryx Academy Freeride edition in St. Anton am Arlberg is coming up fast!

From the 6th to the 9th of February, Arc’teryx will take over the slopes of one of Austria’s most storied freeride resorts with a full program of clinics, courses and a full off-mountain program.

Many of the courses are already filled up, but a few slots are still available! Check the Academy website here to see which clinics still have open spots or register for free for the off-mountain activities.

Even if you don’t participate in the on-slope program, there’s still plenty to keep you busy. The Freeride Village in the heart of St. Anton will be open throughout the weekend with lots of activities and entertainment. For example, you can test the latest gear for free from the Arc’teryx Gear Library, or get your old gear repaired at the ReBIRD Booth. The village also features tents and stands from other brand partners with demo gear and rentals, ski service, a lounge with food and drink, and live music with DJs.

There’s also a full evening program to keep you busy including film nights, parties and community gatherings. Here’s a quick preview of some of the events.

Film Night Friday: The Art of the Moment

This film night and talk invites the athletes involved in Every Island Has a Name and Éphémère to share their perspectives on the relationship between sport and artistic expression.

Every Island Has a Name examines the ties between snowboarding, craft, and art. While Éphémère is a poetic ode to the inevitable and a journey about grieving, thriving, and finding one’s way.

There will be a Q&A throughout the screening with featured athletes Edgar Cheylus and Severin Van der Meer, Arc’teryx gear giveaways, refreshments, and more.
