An interesting update from the Swiss park scene: The snowpark at Schilthorn, formerly known as the Skyline Park, is now called Pända Park. And it’s opening earlier than ever: on Saturday, the 28th of September!
Schilthorn has been making moves in the past few seasons to put its snowpark on the map (check out our Spot Check from last season). For the 2024/25 season, the moves continue with a new name—Pända Snowpark—and the earliest opening date yet.
The newly christened Pända Snowpark will open for business on Saturday, the 28th of September. They’re able to hit this early date thanks to snow farming—a huge pile of snow has been preserved over the summer, and from what we’ve heard, there’s even more snow up there than organizers were originally planning. This means that the snowpark team will be able to pull off a preseason park with two jumps of 8 meters and 16 meters, as well as a diverse jib setup.
The snowpark will be open daily from 28 September until 27 October. But before you grab your skis and head for Schilthorn, make sure to book your ticket first online! Sessions are limited to 100 people per day, and tickets must be purchased in advance. You can book your ticket and get more info on the park here.
