Denver, Colorado-based outerwear brand Virtika has a new Europe-based online shop, Virtika.eu.
The company’s new Munich-based distribution hub means fast, no-duty shipping and prompt customer service for customers in the EU. Instead of ordering from the US and paying import duties, customs fees and taxes, virtika.eu customers can expect a no-hassle shipment that arrives within days.

Virtika is something of an anomaly in the outerwear market. The brainchild of freeskier, entrepreneur and noted bad boy David Lesh, the small start-up brand—now with a decade under its belt—has maintained an unlikely presence in a market heavy on established, big-fish producers. That’s due in part to Lesh’s eye-catching marketing savvy, and in part to his continuing passion for offering attention-grabbing styles and high-quality products loaded with features.
As far as the former is concerned, the video below tells you pretty much all you need to know about David Lesh and his, ahem, unique approach to marketing his outerwear.
As far as the latter is concerned, Virtika’s gear aims to go blow-for-blow in quality with top-shelf producers, while maintaining and a price point that's appealing to everyone not looking to spend eye-popping amounts on top tier functional outerwear. Since the beginning, Lesh has always had a chip on his shoulder when it comes to making better outerwear than the big boys. Unhappy with the gear he was getting as a pro skier, he took matters into his own hands to do it better. The 3L insulated Signature jacket (€299), with 25K waterproofing/breathability, water-repellent treating and taped seams, offers protection and performance at a price half of what you may pay for similar quality elsewhere.
The Signature 3L jacket comes in 10 different styles.
At the same time, Virtika’s gear hones in on the details that passionate snowriders look for in their gear—lots of smartly placed pockets inside and out, robust stitching and zippers, a high-quality finish, and functional features like venting, powder skirt, “stay snap” hood, wrist cuffs, even zip-off sleeves and a suspender carry system – cool features that make a real difference.
If there’s anything that truly sets Virtika apart though, it’s style—both the distinct cuts and designs of the gear are sure to stand out in the lift line, and there's also the unconventional image of the brand as a hustlin’, cutting-out-the-middleman-and-selling-direct kind of operation. There’s no question that wearing Virtika makes a statement.
