Free material test, open park and cool side events from 3–5 November on the Stubai Glacier

At the beginning of November, it's finally that time again. From 3—5 November 2023, the snowpark opening in the Stubai Zoo on the Stubai Glacier will herald the winter season for all freestylers. For three days the top shaped lines of the Snowpark Stubai Zoo at the Stubai Glacier can be used by freeskiers and snowboarders. The jumps and obstacles on the Pro-, Medium-, Easy- and Jib-Line offer an almost endless choice to perfect new tricks or to learn them. The latest equipment from over 30 hot brands can be tested free of charge at the Testival at the Eisgrat mountain station. cool side events and parties in the valley complete The opening weekend.

As soon as visitors leave the Eisgrat mountain station at an altitude of 2,900 meters, the colorful flags and tents of the test area of over 30 exhibitors from well-known brands such as Head, Fischer, Oakley, Armada and Burton catch their eye. The test area on the Eisgrat forms the heart of the event. Here the latest material of the freeski and snowboard industry may be individually assembled and extensively tested. A relaxed atmosphere is provided by the Chill Out Lounge, where DJs play cool beats. Additional variety is provided by the Snow Bocca track and the Balance Board Corner - the perfect pastime before and after the runs in the snow park. Testing of the equipment is free of charge. However, accreditation with ID at the info counter is required.

Numerous side events in the park

In the Snowpark Stubai Zoo, which with its set-up is one of the best snowparks in the world, smaller additional events - so-called sessions, which are framed with lush beats - ensure the perfect experience on the mountain. Anyone can take part and it's worth it. For the most spectacular tricks there are lots of material and cash prizes to be won, such as on Saturday at the ROME OPENING RAIL SESH for snowboarders. In addition, the LINE SKI "CASH FOR TRICK SESSION" will take place on this day, where there will not only be "cash for good tricks", but also a brand new Line Honey Badger for the overall winner of the session. On Sunday at the SNOWBOARDER MBM & SKIING MIXED TRICKS SESSION there will be prizes from Templeton Outerwear and Lead Fabrics for the best demonstration of tricks by freeskiers and snowboarders. More sessions will be announced at short notice

SKi all day, party all night

After spending all day on the mountain, opening attendees can celebrate in the evening at the village pub in Neustift in the valley. The festivities kick off on Friday evening with the Opening Warm Up Party presented by Erdinger with DJ Audiomat (IT). On Saturday follows the Stubai Zoo Opening Club Night & Five o'clock APRE presented by DC. From 17:00 to 20:00 DJ Buzz (Waxolutionist/Vienna) will play during the "Five o'clock APRE". The party continues from 21:00 to 03:00 with DJ FU (Wax Wreckaz) & local support at the legendary Stubai Zoo Opening Club Night.
