For its second edition, IF3 CHAMONIX has been moved to the beginning of winter, the first days of December 2022. The move from fall to winter makes it easier to bring together people who love winter mountain activities, for beautiful movies, pictures, mountaineering events, parties and music.

iF3 Chamonix is an offshoot of the renowned iF3 (International Freesports Film Festival) in Montreal, Canada. iF3 started in 2007 as a freeski festival, but soon expanded to include sports like snowboarding and mountain biking as well. The festival made its debut in Chamonix in October 2021. This year it's back in Cham with a couple of tweaks to make it bigger and better! One big change for iF3 Chamonix 2022 is that there will be screenings in the cinema on all three nights.

From December 1–3, athletes, amateurs and seasonaires are invited to share amazing experiences:

• Three cinema screenings of ski and other films

• On-mountain activities, with a special focus on women in mountain sports

• Conferences

• Side activities

• Support for ecological initiatives like the Blizzard-Tecnica ski boot recycling program
