European Skier Of The Year 2024: The Finals

By: Ethan Stone February 24, 2025

Who killed it hardest in 2024? Cast your vote in the 2024 European Skier Of The Year contest presented by Level Gloves.

After three heated rounds, two men and two women have advanced to the ESOTY finals. Without further ado, meet our finalists!

Finals voting is open until 8:00pm on Sunday, 2 March. You may vote once every 24 hours.

Men’s Finals: Matej Svancer vs. Tormod Frostad

This year’s final round features two new-generation stars at the top of their game. In 2024, Matej Svancer continued his mission to defy the laws of physics and flummox contest judges at every occasion, and took the W at Big Air Chur. Tormod Frostad won the second season of Jib League, then kicked off the 24/25 contest season with a remarkable run, podiuming at three straight World Cups (Chur, Stubai & Beijing).

Women’s Finals: Flora Tabanelli vs. Manon Loschi

Also on the women’s side, two next-gen talents have battled their way to the finals. 17-year-old Flora Tabanelli broke out in a big way last year, winning the Big Airs at the Youth Olympics and the Junior World Championships and making moves on the World Cup, including second place at Big Air Chur. Manon Loschi skied to fourth place overall on the Freeride World Tour, while putting out a lot of video content like “Abstrus,” a Core Shots episode, and a memorable segment in Matchstick Productions’ “Calm Beneath Castles.”

Thanks for voting in the finals! You can vote once every 24 hours, so keep checking back to help your favorite skiers take the win.
