Become A Nine video contest: Win an invitation to Swatch Nines!
The 2025 Swatch Nines are right around the corner, and this year they’re returning to a more playful and creative set-up, that still allows to collect plenty of airmilage though. Once again we are giving away two spots (one for men and one for women) to this prestigious session. Want to earn yourself an invite to the Nines? Here’s how:
- Put together a 59-second video clip that showcases your skiing.
- Upload your clip to a file transfer service like WeTransfer, and send us the link to ba9@downdays.eu. Include your name, age, location and IG handle in your email.
- That’s it, you’re officially entered into the Become A Nines contest!

A few rules and things to know about:
- A maximum of two (2) winners will be selected in the Become A Nine x Downdays contest: one male skier and one female skier.
- Submissions will be accepted until 11:59pm on Sunday, 23 March.
- The winners will be announced on Friday, 28 March.
- Don’t add any music to your edit. Raw skiing shots only please!
- Editing isn’t important. We just want to see your skiing ability.
- The progression jump and creative jib features return: The perfect big jump in the center, combined with a bunch of playful, innovative multipurpose features and street-inspired jibs designed by the likes of Nico Vuignier (Helsinki-inspired skate plaza) and Fridge (Geilo Rail) will form a unique playground for big tricks and creativity alike.
- By submitting your video, you grant both Downdays and Swatch Nines the right to use your video footage, in part or in whole, on their respective social media channels, including but not limited to Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Tiktok.
- The winners will receive an invitation to participate in the 2025 Swatch Nines event in Schilthorn, Switzerland. This invitation includes accommodation and full board throughout the event. It DOES NOT include your travel expenses to and from the event. We can consult you on making your travel plans, but you’ll need to cover the costs yourself.
