X Games Real Ski 2019: The Edits are Out

By: Ethan Stone February 20, 2019

Everyone’s favorite street skiing video contest, X Games Real Ski is back for 2019 with a whole new crop of bangers for you to admire.

Real Ski reliably delivers some of the best action in urban skiing each year, and this edition is no different with highlight performances from vets and newcomers alike. Without further ado, here are the videos. Don't forget to cast your vote here — you can vote once a day until Sunday, March 3.

Kim Boberg

The style legend and Kimbo Sessions guru throws his hat into the ring with a strong Real Ski debut filmed in Sweden. Equal parts of urban-hustle vibe and Kim's signature buttery style make this a highlight for connoisseurs — and how he pulled off that wallride to roof jib, we'll never know.

Per “Peyben” Hägglund

Vote: http://xgames.espn.com/xgames/video/26034923

The latest member of The Bunch to get into Real Ski, Peyben throws down hard with some wildly creative tricks you’re sure to have never seen before. Actually, it's hard to anything resembling a "stock trick" in this whole cut. If your mind isn't yet equipped to handle some of this stuff, it's best to hit the rewind button a few times — trust us, it'll grow on you.

Alex Beaulieu-Marchand

Vote: http://xgames.espn.com/xgames/video/26035001

ABM has been no slouch in on the slopestyle course lately, but shows he’s got the urban game to match in his first Real Ski offering. When it comes to street skiing you can never have too much Quebec, and ABM brings one home for this freeski heartland with some inline-influenced rail wizardry, some classic spots like the Red Ledge (now Grey Ledge) and a dash of jump tricks to add variety.

Phil Casabon

Vote: http://xgames.espn.com/xgames/video/26034947

The mellow feel-good soundtrack of Casabon’s edit is deceiving. Rather than a swan song for last year’s winner, this is actually B-Dog going hard at his best, making some crazy tech tricks look easy from heavy rail gaps to the fine art of the nollie. Another candidate for the replay click.

Henrik Harlaut

Vote: http://xgames.espn.com/xgames/video/26035000

2017 Real Ski silver medalist Harlaut is back in the mix again with slopeside rails and urban features marked by the grey rock of his adopted homeland of Andorra. It's kind of refreshing to see someone hitting the rails on the side of a ski resort — brings you right back to the old days. Toss in some mad wallride antics and big-dog spins onto huge rails, and you've got yourself another E-Dollo banger.

Jake Mageau

Vote: http://xgames.espn.com/xgames/video/26034997

This year’s underground underdog entry, Mr. Mango’s segment is anything but underperforming, with some absolutely wildin’ stunts that only he could pull off, and a closer that must be seen to be believed. A few watches of this cut could be enough to convince even die-hard nonbelievers of the existence of aliens.
