Winter Dew Tour 2021 Cancelled

Another one bites the dust: the 2021 Winter Dew Tour in Copper Mountain, Colorado has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A long staple of the contest scene, the Dew Tour traditionally welcomes freeski and snowboard athletes to Colorado early in the season for halfpipe and slopestyle contests. In recent years the event has mixed up its format in innovative ways, bringing us events like the Modified Superpipe and the Team Challenge. In 2021 however, the Dew Tour will take a hiatus in light of safety regulations and guidelines around the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The health and safety of the athletes, fans, partners and staff remain the priority,” says Courtney Gresik, Vice President and General Manager of Dew Tour. “As we continue to monitor the state of COVID worldwide, and see the numbers continue to rise, we must make the difficult decision to postpone the event. We miss the athletes, our fans, partners and showcasing the world’s best male and female skiers and snowboarders. We will return when we can safely put on the innovative Dew Tour event and competition that everyone knows and loves. Thank you for the continued support.“
