Heads up freeride fans! Peak Performance has announced an Instagram video contest called #MyHomeRun with a tantalizing prize on the line: a trip to the final Freeride World Tour stop in Verbier next spring.
Peak Performance #MyHomeRun
The company says the idea behind the #MyHomeRun contest is to inspire people to get out into the mountains, and to gather edits of great runs under one platform. “There are tons of great lines out there to ski, when the conditions are good and safe,” says Anders Norin, sponsoring manager at Peak Performance. “It would be fantastic if this competition can inspire skiers and snowboarders around the world to share videos of their favorite runs.”
Entering the contest is easy: just film a clip of you riding “your favorite run” and post it to Instagram with the hashtag #MyHomeRun. “Your #MyHomeRun can be any legendary, beautiful, obvious, fun or just great run at your home resort or favorite mountain,” says the company. “We invite you to share it, and the experience you had skiing it.”

The videos will be judged by a jury of Peak Performance athletes: Elisabeth Gerritzen, Laurent “Lolo” Besse, Henrik Windstedt and Kristofer Turdell.
“I really look forward to seeing the videos you create,” says Windstedt. “And maybe most of all to get to know about so many runs I didn’t ski yet…and then go do them myself!”
The #MyHomeRun contest is open until March 3, 2020. Find out all you need to know at ppmyhomerun.com/.
