It’s back for 2017: The Downdays European Skier of the Year presented by Monster Energy, where you get to pick the male and female skiers of the year!

With a wide variety of skiers across the spectrum, from freeride to freestyle and contests to film, all of them killing it in their own ways, we’re sure you’ll find some suitable candidates for European Skier of the Year honors in our list of picks for the first round, which were made based on contest results and media presence.

CONTEST FORMAT

This week we start with the first round, which narrows the list down to 16 men and 8 women. Cast your vote now for your favorite ten men and eight women to continue on to the second round. Voting in the first round will be open until 8:00pm CET on Saturday, November 25. You may only vote once per round. In the second round we begin with head-to-head match-ups, until we find our winners.
