There’s a brand-new city Big Air event on the 2025 World Cup schedule. The venue: the Austrian city of Klagenfurt.
The name Klagenfurt might not ring a bell as a place to know in the freeski contest realm. That all changes in January 2025, as the capital city of the Austrian state of Carinthia hosts its first World Cup Big Air event.
The contest will be held on a scaffolding jump in Klagenfurt’s Wörthersee Stadium (capacity 32,000). In addition to freeski and snowboard big air contests, the event will also feature musical acts like Finch, Gabry Ponte, Bonez MC and Culcha Candela.
