February 20, 2025

GoPro’s Line Of The Winter contest is back in 2025, and it’s dishing out over a hundred grand in cash prizes for your best POV clips.

When you press record on your GoPro before dropping into a spicy line, you’re hopefully creating a memory that you can cherish for years to come. With the GoPro Line of the Winter contest, you can create a whole lot more than that — like a welcome infusion for your bank account.

The Line Of The Winter contest is back for 2025, and it’s dishing out a grand total of $120,000 USD for your best POV clips. The terms are simple: Submit your raw POV clips via GoPro’s Quik app or at gopro.com/lineofthewinter. Each month from January to April, $5,000 prizes will be awarded in each of four categories: Men’s Ski, Women’s Ski, Men’s Snowboard and Women’s Snowboard. That’s a total of $80K in monthly prizes!

At the end of the contest, an additional $40,000—ten thousand per category—will be dished out as a grand prize for the overall winning clips in each category.

January’s winners have been picked

The first crop of Line Of The Winter winners has been announced. For Ski Women, Justine Dufour-Lapointe picked up the W with her dreamy powder line at the Freeride World Tour event in Val Thorens, France. Logan Pehota’s rowdy pillow line netted him the prize in the Ski Men category, while Dustin Craven and Marissa Crawczak claimed the snowboard categories with worthy entries.

According to GoPro, clips are judged based on athlete performance, video capture quality and overall “wow factor.” There are still three monthly prizes to be had, as well as the grand prize—so get those settings dialed, those DINs cranked up and throw your hat into the ring!
