A visual collage from 18 days in the Alps with Nico Porteous | Phase 001
Phase 001 is the first episode of a new series from Nico Porteous which aims to create a visual collage of what Nico gets up to every 18 days. This first episode was filmed all over the Alps between 10 January and 28 January 2025.
Nico retired from contest skiing as of this year but he is certainly not sleeping. He is producing more high-quality content than ever – Step One looked to redefine transition skiing and the first episode of this new series combines artistic filmmaking with Nico’s creative ability on skis. Nico even managed to surprise La Clusaz local, Jeremy Pancras, by finding a new jump spot up at the famous La Balme after posting a clip to Instagram. We are hyped to see this series develop.
