The International Freesports Film Festival – iF3 Chamonix – is back for its fourth edition this December hosting mountain workshops, athlete interviews and showcasing the industries best films.
The first iF3 was held in Montreal in 2007 and was dedicated to screening freeski films. Since then, the festival has grown to include a wide range of freesports movies across three continents. From 5-8 December, iF3 Chamonix will take place in the heart of the alps with each night dedicated to a different genre of film. Thursday is ‘Adventure’, Friday is ‘Expedition’ hosted by The North Face and Saturday includes ‘Freeride’ hosted by Mammut and ‘Alpinism’.
The long weekend will be packed with other events accompanying the film festival – interviews with Markus Eder and the De La Rue family will undoubtedly be highlights. There will also be a brand village at the Grande Montets ski area during the Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December offering equipment demos and testing.
