In Face B, a lusty crew takes us behind the scenes of the freeski spirit as they traipse through the street and kicker spots of Les Arcs, France. Featuring Jules Bonnaire, Joffrey Pollet-Villard, Cesar Fabre, Pierre Rougeot and Paul Roques and created by Max Ramoul, Face B is an enjoyable look at the lifestyle of these two-planking vagabonds.
Dans la culture hip-hop la face B du vinyle c’est l’instrumentale, encore vierge sur laquelle chacun est invité à poser son texte, c’est l’espace d’expression. Mais ici on parle de ski. De freeski. Ça veut dire liberté. Pourquoi on fait ça ? C’est justement la grande question. On sait pas trop comment le dire, le mieux qu’on puisse faire c’est le montrer. Cette fois nous voudrions partager une vision façonnée par le temps passé là-haut, à celle ou celui qui lit ces mots, on t’emmène avec nous.
In hip-hop culture, b-sides are instrumentals, a blank space where everyone is invite to drop words on it. But here we speak about ski. Freeski. It means freedom. Why do we do that ? That is the question. We don’t really know how to tell, the best we can do is to show it. This time we would share a vision forged by years spent up there, to those reading those words, we take you with us.
