Since the debut of the “We Are the Faction Collective” webisodes back in 2014, Faction Skis has staked its reputation not just on its planks, but on its high-quality video content as well. The first webisodes from Faction set the standard for the company’s media presence for years to come—a standard that’s now being upheld by their latest effort, The Collective.

Following up on 2018’s This Is Home, the new flick once again showcases Faction’s stellar athlete team, which is doubtless one of the most diverse and deep in skiing today. From an epic sunset booter session in Folgefonna, Norway with big-air specialists like Mac Forehand, Eirik Saeteroy and Alex Hall, to the streets of Helsinki with Antti Ollila, Will Berman and Corey Jackson, to a mind-numbing big mountain speed segment from Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland with Sam Anthamatten and Andrew Pollard, The Collective comes packing with all we’ve come to expect from Faction and more. Besides the action from all the aforementioned guys to boggle your mind, there’s also a stacked womens-only segment from park shoots in Leysin and Saas-Fee featuring Sarah Hoefflin, Mathilde Gremaud, Kelly Sildaru, Caroline Claire, Giulia Tanno and Margaux Hackett.

In the interest of honest reviewing: the voiceover could have been slightly less cheesy, the music could have been slightly more hype, and where is Faction’s headliner, Candide Thovex? But when it comes to what really matters—raw ski talent and amazing ski cinematography—it doesn’t come much better than this. But don’t take it from us. Clear up an hour of your time, hit play and see for yourself.

Adventuring to undiscovered peaks together, plotting midnight-raids on inner-city handrails, lapping your home run until that last ray of sunshine disappears behind a distant ridge… Skiing is Collective.
