Battle ROJal 2017 – Sharpen Your Blades!

For seven years the QParks Tour has been supporting ambitious young shredders on their path to their pro career - the “Battle ROjal” in Schöneben at Reschenpass has been a part of it for the last six years. Thanks to an international team of professional judges and a cash price and goodies worth a staggering 1.200€, exciting contest atmosphere at the Snowpark Schöneben is guaranteed, when it’s time for numerous young riders to compete against each other in a royal battle once again.

Battle ROJal – Get Ready to Rumble in Schöneben The early season setup at the Snowpark Schöneben is already shredable and park designer Moritz Klammer and his crew are working nonstop to add more and more obstacles. Because on January 7th 2017 it’s time for the QParks Freeski Tour to return to the Reschenpass! Competitors in the categories Men, Women and Groms are looking forward to a topnotch slopestyle setup that offers each rider plenty of possibilities to lay down their most stylish and creative runs.

For years the QParks Freeski Tour has been holding the title for the most professional amateur series in the entire Alpine area, with the main focus on supporting up-and-coming young riders. Once again the Battle ROjal will certainly live up to the QPark Freeski Tour’s reputation and attract the attention of many skiers thanks to a princely cash price and various goodies by Amplifi, QParks and Pinetime Clothing worth a total of about 1.200€. The starting fee isn’t as hefty as the cash price, though. Actually it’s 0,00€ - hence, participation is totally free! There’ll also be free catering for all the competitors, so that the riders can recharge their energy reserves in between the runs! And here’s one more thing: As with all Italian contests, the participants are also obliged to wear a helmet at the “Battle ROjal”.

Rankings, Cups & Points The loyalty of the competitors will be rewarded once again: Apart from the essential QParks Freeski Tour points, riders also get the chance to battle for a top ranking in the TSV Freeski-Landescup.

Best Trick Battle – Win the VIP Invitation Last year, Michi Tschallener convinced the judges with his style and managed to win the category “Best Trick”. Now he has even more reason to be happy – All of last year’s winners of the various tour stops are currently in the race for the “Best Trick Battle” collecting as many votes as possible for their trick online. The prize is a VIP Invitation for one of the upcoming tour stops including lift tickets and accommodation for two persons.
